Materials / Cable Engineer January
2007 April 2009 I worked in the ignition cable plant as a
cable/materials engineer. I worked with latex ovens for core manufacturing
and Ignition Cable extrusion. I was responsible to work with our new
suppliers to ensure the cable quality and to run trials in their facility. I
was responsible for manufacturing and validating new cable and core products
and changes to existing products manufactured at our outside suppliers. I
also coordinated the suppliers for materials, cable and core products. Due to
company down sizing I had to take on additional job responsibilities outside
of my original responsibilities including quality checks and also releasing
