The Short Bus ha,ha I thought that would grab your attention. Many of you probably said more than a time or two , "You know I think Larry and Roy rode the short bus" and you were definitely right...last Sunday February 6th 14 hearty souls...men and women motorcycle enthusiasts alike piled onboard the Gold Cross Limousine short bus for a trip to the world renowned AMA Hall of Fame Museum in Pickerington, Ohio. Ron and Beck Craig, George, Paul and Kathy  Paisley, Bob Foley, and several others braved the mid winter weather to hop aboard the limo bus for an entertaining 3 hour ride to Pickerington, Ohio. I am always pleasantly surprised by the neat stuff you get to talk about with listeners... Bob Foley told us about a neat option he has used for replacing the tire on his Star motorcycle. He even sent a way cool vid about it!

Katy Woods Director of the museum made sure we were welcomed with open arms and provided a discount to all the members! It was neat seeing motorcycles from all disciplines; asphalt and dirt racing, custom bikes, choppers to exceptional one-of-a-kind bikes. We also had an opportunity to watch On Any Sunday the Iconic look at motorcycling in America circa 1960's.

What visit could be complete without stopping by the gift shop for some cool shirts , stickers and key chains! After loading back into the bus a straw poll was taken and Arby's was the food purveyor of choice so we were off for Jamoca shakes and roast beef!

On the way home more stories were told. I want to thank all of my listeners who attended. You made the day memorable and it helps me to never forget what a good group we have here in Youngstown.

February 28th is the final Two Wheel Tuesdays at the Movies. As a special treat the documentary..Slugo goes Around Lake Erie will be shown before the actual feature movie. Special guest Bob Davis from Fairway ford will bring his flat track motorcycle in for show n' tell and give a talk about the Western Reserve Motorcycle Club.

 Hang in There!
