I got a chance to see Bruce Springsteen's "Wrecking Ball Tour" stop in State College at the Bryce Jordan Center on Thursday November 1. It was a three and a half hour marathon of non stop rock & roll that nobody but Bruce could pull off. Dealing from a deck of songs from "Greetings from Asbury Park" through "Wrecking Ball" the 27 song set ended with the E Street Band leading the crowd in a roof raising rendition of the Islay Brothers "Shout." I don't think there is an artist in their twenties that can hold and capture the energy that the 63 year old Springsteen did. I just hope you get an opportunity before it's too late to experience the all out tent raising revival of a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band concert!
