Two important school levies were approved. Teachers  were told not to let the general public know they were voting for Obama, it might sour the voting public. Both Poland and Boardman passed, and so did Obama. If you poll people everyone complains Obama's record but someone must have voted for him, could it have been you?

Speaking of unions, how about AFL CIO president Richard Trumka's latest statement. Paraphrasing, we must go forward and protect entitlements and stop talking about this national debt it's just not that important. He then added we need to tax the rich. By the way the unions as an aggregate gave president Obama $ 500 million dollars. What could they want in return?

"Card Check" would be nice. No that's not a rewards card, it's a tool to ascertain your willingness to join a union. Currently it's conducted by secret ballot. If Card Check becomes the law, leaders can set up a card table and present you with a card and ask you to state yea or nay for the union. Do you see any potential for intimidation?

What other prize could unions desire for their generous gifts to Obama?  Perhaps the deletion of a phrase in the "Taft Hartley law" under section 14b. The deletion of this section would eliminate states rights that place the power in  the right to work.

On the other hand $ 500 million is not what it used to be, perhaps the unions will offer a sweetener. Stay tuned and stay in touch, write me
