When comedian Bill Maher tweeted " I can't believe I'm saying this, but Obama does look like he needs a teleprompter" it gives you some insight into the last 4 years. To illustrate, President Obama has had friendly audiences in which he could simply throw red meat.
More food stamps, more un-employment benefits, tax the wealthy, I was left a mess, we've created 4 million jobs. You have heard his talking points.
Mitt Romney demonstrated why taxing the job creators does not work, and what happens when you lower taxes- you bring in more tax revenue. Romney didn't say it, but look at what Europe has wrought with "Womb to Tomb" benefits. People took to the streets with violent results when the benefits dried up.
Mitt Romney reminds me of a young Reagan with his communication skills. He may turn out to be a better Reagan, if that's possible. We know he has prepared for the job with his business acumen. The question remains will enough Americans see the contrast in President Obama- dubbed "The Amateur" by author Ed Klein or will they choose the seasoned CEO in Mitt Romney.
Romney already has a great resume of accomplishments, including saving companies like Staples, and stabilizing the Olympics when the games were on the ropes. We can only hope Americans will look at the choice and pick the seasoned veteran. To miss the opportunity for a Romney presidency could doom our country.
